If you’re looking into motorhome hire for the UK or Europe, we can tell you everything you need to know so you’re fully prepared for your trip.

  • Fully Comprehensive Insurance is provided for all named drivers between the ages of 25 to 79 years who have held a full licence for a minimum period of 2 years.
  • All Drivers must be the age of 30 to 79 years to drive our New 2025 Ford Transit Bailey Adamo 75-4i Motorhome, 2024 Peugeot Elddis 196 Motorhome, 2024 Fiat Encore 285 & 2020 Fiat Encore 250 Automatic Motorhomes.
  • All our vehicles are under 3.5 tonnes so can be driven using a standard licence.
  • We can insure UK & Non UK licence holders between the ages of 25 to 79 years.  An International Driving Licence is not required.
  • Yes, but if you currently have more than 6 points we will not be able to provide insurance cover.
  • Any Driving Convictions under 3 years old must be declared.
  • Any Driving Convictions over 3 years old are not required to be declared, apart from DD DR and IN convictions.
  • Fully Comprehensive Insurance & Breakdown Recovery including Roadside Assistance is provided with the Motorhome Hire for all Named Drivers on the Rental Agreement from the age of 25 to 79 Years at a charge of £10.00 Per Day.

  • No, we supply the insurance to ensure an adequate level of cover is provided.
  • Travel is permitted to any European destination at no extra cost.
  • No, we do not charge extra to travel throughout Europe.
  • No the EU Conversion kits are required to be purchased by hirer prior to travel or from the outbound port or Channel Tunnel Terminal.
  • Yes all our vehicles can use the tunnel as none of our vehicles carry LPG gas
  • All our Motorhomes are provided with Full UK & European Breakdown Cover including Roadside Assistance the contact numbers for which are supplied within the motor home.

  • We currently have 2 No x Pet Friendly Motorhomes available for Hire.
  • Our 2019 Peugeot Elddis 175 Motorhome (2 Berth) and our 2017 Peugeot Elddis 196 Motorhome (4 / 6 Berth).
  • A Deep Steam Cleaning Charge of £150.00 will apply to all Pet Friendly Motorhome Hire.
  • Maximum 1 x Large Dog, 2 x Small Dogs & 2 x Cats.
  • The small (2 berth) Motorhome has 2 seatbelts
  • The medium (4 berth) Motorhomes has 4 seatbelts
  • The large (6 berth) Motorhomes has 6 seatbelts
  • Our 2025 Ford Transit Bailey Adamo 75-4i Motorhome (4 Berth) and our 2024 Fiat Encore 285 & 250 Motorhomes – (4 Berth) have Automatic Transmission.
  • All Drivers must be 30 to 79 years old to drive this Motorhome due to the value and insurance requirements.
  • All our Motorhomes are under 10 years old and are regularly serviced and well maintained with low mileage.
  • We do have a number of 2025 & 2024 Motorhomes in our Hire Fleet.
  • Collection and return times are required to be agreed with our Depot Managers. Normally collection time is between 08.00 am – 11.00 am and return time is before 11.00 am on the last day of the hire.
  • Please allow 1 hour at the point of collection for a comprehensive handover to be provided by the depot staff during which time full instruction of the vehicle will be demonstrated.
  • Copy of Full Valid Driving License (Plastic Photo Card Licence).
  • If from overseas, please also take your passport
  • A Copy of your Signed Motorhome Rental Agreement
  • Yes, you can leave your car at our depot free of charge and take your Keys with you.
  • Your Vehicle will be parked at owners risk. The management accepts no liability for loss or damage caused to any vehicle or its contents in the car park.

All Hirers are required to pay an Insurance Excess Security Deposit for £1000.00 which is refundable on the day of return if Motorhome is returned with No Damage or Repair Costs.

We do also offer a Non-Refundable CDW Damage Waiver at a cost of £250.00 available on request before the Hire.

  • In the following circumstances, a £1000.00 Refundable Insurance Excess Security Deposit Bond is mandatory.
  • a) All UK Residents.
  • b) Non UK Mainland travel
  • c) Drivers disclosing accidents, medical conditions & multiple endorsements
  • d) CDW has not been requested or paid for or hirer is ineligible to purchase this cover
  • e) Overseas Driving Licences
  • f)  Drivers aged 25 years to 79 Years.
  • g) High Risk Occupation Drivers – includes but not limited to those who are engaged in professional gambling, sport or entertainment including film & television, hawking or general dealing, street or marketing trading.
  • A £250.00 security deposit is the alternative option for those who are eligible to purchase the Insurance Excess Waiver.
  • Note: Insurance can be provided for drivers between the ages of 25 to 79 Insurance cannot be provided for drivers with more than 6 current driving endorsement points.
  • Your Excess Insurance Security Deposit of £1,000.00 will be Fully Refundable on the last day when you return the Motorhome back to our depot as long as there is No Damage or Repair Costs to the Motorhome.
  • Yes.  The Insurance Excess Waiver (IEW) reduces the extent of liability for damages in relation to the insurance policy from £1000.00 to £250.00 per insurable incident.  
  • IEW can be provided at £250.00 which is Non-Refundable.

No, if you fall into any of the categories below you are not eligible to purchase Insurance Excess Waiver.

  • If you are not eligible for the IEW you are required to pay the refundable insurance excess deposit of £1000.00 at least 14 days before your period of hire is due to commence.
  • The motor home provides hot air blown heating through the internal ventilation system.  The heating is provided by the diesel in the fuel tank.
  • The engine does not need to be running for the heating to work.  Minimal diesel fuel is used during this process.
  • The main vehicle cab area provides air conditioning with cool air vents located throughout the rest of the vehicle.

  • The Motor home comes with a small grill and a 3 burner gas hob but has no microwave or oven
  • If requested, we can provide a TV/DVD player
  • Yes we supply Two Full Gas Bottles with every Motorhome Hire with a Minimum Charge of £50.00 for 1 No x Gas Bottle.
  • A Full Gas Bottle can last for up to 7 days depending on the time of year.
  • We supply Two Full Gas Bottles with every Motorhome Hire.
  • The Hirer will be charged for a Minimum of One Gas Bottle at a replacement cost of £50.00.
  • If the gas runs out, you will need to obtain a pig tail connector to use with EU gas bottles. These can be supplied by the Depot at your request.
  • No, the plug sockets will only work if you are hooked up to an electricity supply.  The motorhome has a leisure battery, which will provide the power for the lights and the water pump if mains electricity is not available. A fully-charged leisure battery can last for up to 72 hours with conservative use.
  • A mains electricity hook up cable is provided for connection to an electricity supply
  • We do not supply any Bedding due to Hygiene.
  • The Hirer must provide their own Bedding Sheet, Pillows, Duvet, Duvet Cover and Towels.
  • Sat Navs are not provided in the Motorhomes but you can use Google Maps or connect your Apple Play phone or Android Phone.
  • For any reason you have a fault or problem of how to work anything in the Motorhome please call our Service Manager Wayne Stokes – 07792 824 620 or you can read the handbook provided or search on google.
  • The gas will run your hob/grill
  • Fridge (if not hooked up to an electricity supply)
  • Hot Water & Heating
  • Plug sockets will be able to be used when hooked up to mains electricity
  • The fridge can be used whilst on mains electricity thus reducing quantity of gas used
  • The leisure battery will recharge when connected to an electricity supply
  • The motorhomes will do approximately 20-30 miles per gallon.
  • When driving the Motorhome on all UK or European Roads you must travel within the Highways Speed Limits and also drive at a Safe Speed at all times.
  • The Maximum Speed Limit on a Motorway is 70 mph.
  • All Motorhomes must be returned to the collection depot by 11.00 am on the last day of the hire (unless otherwise previously agreed with the Depot Manager)
  • All Motorhomes are required to be returned with the same level of fuel as was present at the beginning of the period of hire
  • All Motorhomes are required to be returned with an empty toilet cassette and an empty grey water tank, the contents of which are only to be disposed of at approved disposal points
  • Vehicles are expected to be returned in a clean and tidy condition
    • All floors clean
    • Refuse removed
    • Bathroom clean and tidy
    • Surfaces wiped
    • Kitchen Itinerary washed and replaced in cupboards
  • No, we do not have any vehicles with access suitable for wheelchairs
  • All our Motorhomes are fitted with a Full Fold Out Awning.
  • Our  2019 Peugeot Elddis 175 – (2 Berth) and 2017 Peugeot Elddis 196 – (6 Berth) Motorhomes are fitted with a Tow Bar for towing a Box Trailer if required.
  • Yes, all our Motorhomes are fitted with a bike rack.
  • Our current policy is we do not provide baby/child seats.  If you are unable to bring your own, please order a suitable seat from from an online supplier requesting delivery directly to the collection depot.  The fixing of the child seat will be within the normal 3 point seat belt in the rear of the vehicle.  
  • Whilst the depot managers will certainly be helpful to any hirer who is attaching the seat belt to a child seat it is ultimately the responsibility of the parent to ensure the seat belt is securely attached to the baby/child seat.
  • We do not have Isofix fittings for baby/child seats in our motorhomes.  All child seats are required to be secured within a normal 3 point seat belt.
  • We can provide a booster seat for which the daily hire charge is £2.00.
  • No, we cannot accept a booking for which a specific tyre type is required.  Snow chains are also not provided.
  • In England, it is illegal to park overnight in an undesignated area eg roadside layby, supermarket or service area car parks.  We recommend you book an approved campsite.
  • We can arrange temporary membership with the Camping and Caravan club at no cost to you, enabling membership rates at all their sites.
  • If boiled the water is safe but we recommend bottle water be purchased if not.
  • Yes, we do supply a full tank of fresh water when you collect the Motorhome.
